Great Job Bro, I love anything w/ how to's on ultrabeat. I also like your trick on reversing the roads samples to fit in your mix. Kinda reminds me of how Pink Floyd would reverse some of their samples, put reverb to it and then reverse back again :-) insane sound those guys made and that was back in the day...

@sksharmafourteen ESX24. You've probably found your answer now though, considering this was asked 6 months ago :p

Very informative thank you!! I also almost spit out my drink when I saw the "to gay" ? pop up. hahah

Good wok man, going into details on the synthesis stuff is really good- I didn't realise it wasn't that hard. Beats grabbing vengeance samples everytime. I recommend taking the ramble alert off, because I didn't watch it the other day for that reason. I have seen much worse ramblers.

great video - many thanks
do you know if logic has a sampling instrument other than ultrabeat? by that i mean, can you put a sound into it and play a range of different notes on a keyboard of the same sound?
cheers

Really cool vid man thanks!
Hey. I've been trying to figure this out but cant seem to do it. It is so hard to click and record every key i want just from the piano roll. How do i make it so that my keyboard keys make a sound. Do you get what I'm saying? So i dont have to click each one on the piano roll.

@c25ole Put CAPS Lock on. Now your computer keyboard can play notes! Also, the numbers 1-9 will change which octave your keyboard covers.

how do you reverse the rhodes samples? I cant work it out... :(
QwasiMusic 1 year ago
@QwasiMusic double click sample to bring up sample editor, then "functions > reverse". Afk so that might not be 100% correct.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in abandoning songs x.x I'm awful for it. Also, you should try mixing reversed rhodes with reversed piano playing countermelodies, I did it for one of my tracks. Cut off the low end of the piano, it sounds really atmospheric and warm, would suit the track later on.
