@halo3productions911 It is Windows 2000. It was going to be Windows 2000 Home Edition. Windows XP is whistler. Megaupload was ratted out and shut down by the feds so I am re-uploading the file to Minus, which is better than MU.

@centerman7 vista sp2 rocks

@centerman7 Yeah. I mean because of that, it caused problems. I remember my brother's $2,500 M1330 XPS with Vista. Worst thing I've ever seen. So many random background services and apps crashing.
Performance was terrible, too, in some cases. A friend had recently bought a PC from iBuyPower with a "new" i7 (back when they just came out). The thing would just hang/freeze for 10+ minutes on the simplest of things. Would never do it on XP.
I actually need to correct this. This is NOT Windows 2000. It was the first build of Windows XP. Code names Neptune and Odyssey were the first. This was actually supposed to be an update for Windows 2000 turned into Whistler and finally XP.
So it's not like pre-Windows 2000. This is really not a whole lot different than Windows 2000. Obviously, again, the intent was for it to be an update.

@halo3productions911 Lemme update that, back then I didn't know, but it basically indirectly is a beta of XP, you are right. It was not part of whistler, but parts of it were included in XP. And Neptune was to be a "Windows 2000 Home Edition" because at the time they did not know of XP. Then they made ME for the "home edition" of 2000, which failed. Lol

@halo3productions911 Vista wasn't that bad, it was just too big of a jump from XP, as in hardware requirements. But still I don't really like Vista, requires a lot of tweaking to be fast, unlike 7 :P
