Pollen Nation follows one migratory beekeeper and a semi-load full of honeybees from Minnesota to California, investigating why bees are dying in record numbers. It's a science documentary disguised as an American road movie, and the first film to explore what happens when pollination -- nature's ancient and ingenious intersection of plants and insects -- becomes a global commodity. • Hi guys, am sure it is the new chemical herbicide that is now being used. It was passed through by Byer. It kills bees by 1 part per million or so and stays in the ground for 5 years. Same with GM crops, do we really know what effect they will have for future ecosystems. Humans really are the dumbest creature on the planet. Also environmentalists, really have a point. It's time for you guys to listen to them. Or are you gona keep sticking your fingers in your ears, shouting can't hear you ;) :)

  • Its Monsanto stupid!!!! GMOs are killing the bees and they will end up killing us all.

  • @sunsetangel1 It sure is!!! It's also a very "sweet" job! LOL :D

  • Ahh we love the bees :)

  • Nice video!

  • People really need to stop using Papyrus and Comic Sans fonts. They make whatever is set in them look amateur

  • They leave the hives because you don't pay them. They do all the work and you make all the money. It is not like the old log in the sun warmed meadow where they can lazily fly around collecting sweet eats for the hive. You have incorporated them and they are protesting.

  • Worrying times. I am not a beekeeper, but love everything I learn about these creatures. It seems to me that we have placed too much stress upon them. Here in England it's not so bad, but we just wait our turn.

  • oho, the kids were logged on. Anyway the video is great. The music in the back is wonderful, and relaxing.

  • Wow, I'm about to planting an almond orchard if it could be called "orchard" (less than a acre 3500 sq. met.)175 trees, backyard is maybe more appropriate term.

And whenever I see an orchards like one in this video I'm disappointing and discourage to take an action.

However several boxes of bees, some jars of hoeny , almond baked snacks for the family and friends and full lungs of almond blossom air and full ears of bees working sounds is enough satisfactorily for me.
