@TQmatt Hence "Comfortably Numb" by Roger Waters & Van Morrison playing in the background: perfect.
-
@johnsmith4442 Chris was an animal. He deserved this and then some.
-
the saddest moment of the sopranos for me..for tony to do that to chris.
-
Chris didnt die here he survived and ran away from tony buthe didn't survive long as a barman for his new crew.....in good fellers where he told the guy to go fuck himself after being shot in the foot THAT IS THE REAL DEATH SCENE OF CHRIS lol
-
@BigJohnWoody I know they say afterward that he "might've made it," so are we to believe that he would have?
-
You guys think he would've died anyway?
-
anyone notice at 5:20 the little smile tony has. O_o
-
@WastemanofOU that could be said for pretty much the entire season 6, all the episodes felt rushed and insincere.
-
this scene is insincere to the series and a sign that the plot was rushed. watch series 2 to understand how close chris and tony were.

@TQmatt To me, it's just that Chris ran out of chances. He told him next time he gets his "intervention through the back of his head".
@LCNFlexy i think he wanted tony to tell the police tony was driving....not kill him

Tony's face is just filled with agony and disappointment. But, it is not about whether Chris deserved it or not, but Tony's quest to complete doom and hopelessness. Ever since the start, Chase wanted, by the end of the show, to have "no hope left" - Adriana's death, Junior's sickness, Pussy, Tony B, Chris - it all adds up. Tony was a borderline sociopath, yes, but the death is more of a metaphor depicting that this is how low it has come for Tony: killing his own nephew with little sympathy.
