@LasagnaIsGood You don't know anything about the social contract, so why are you arguing against it? The social contract is based upon mutual benefit, and isn't anything more than an ethical argument based on reciprocation and appreciation. Don't know why else you would talk about a justice system being good and in the same paragraph state that the social contract is bad in the same paragraph unless you just don't know what the social contract or justice are.
@Sabohaque Society are individuals living under a set of laws. Without laws in place to guarantee individual liberty and justice, we become cogs in a machine. My individual liberties invalidate any "social contract" signing my life away to the whim of a majority. Under capitalism and the free market we can peruse our individual goals and interests through mutual benefit without the need of such a coercive contract.
Capitalism has got us this far, even in its dying breaths, and for that i trust it
@LasagnaIsGood Individualism doesn't refute the morality of a social contract, it merely ignores it by bypassing the reality of interaction and reciprocal benefit.
Horrible arguments.Centralized gov healthcare is only more "efficient" when compared to its highly regulated counterpart which is the health care system. In reality, completely deregulated health care is vastly more efficient then a centralized system.Public health care is plagued with budget issues, poor quality, misuse of the system etc. .Simply saying it spends less on administration costs doesn't mean its any cheaper or actually saving money.
There is no "social contract".Society =Individuals
The coast guard trains rescue swimmers, pilots, aircraft mechanics, so they can pull people out of the ocean who are about to die of hypothermia. Why should I pay for that? Those people should hire their own private helicopter rescue team.
@fxnooodle Sam Seder, the man in this video clip, is Jewish. Explain that...
