  • Wanda Sykes is funny as always.

Also, America is one of the only countries in th world that's NOT using the metric system, every other country is, and so does all the scientific communities.

    METRIC AND CELSIUS RULES!!

  • She's funny. I can sort of relate to it, but still, metric is the way to go in science. Gotta love 10's.

  • For anyone who was born in the USA, the imperial system is easy. You've been taught that since birth. Everyone else uses the metric system. Whatever system you got taught at school, it's always hard to learn another system.

  • Metric system its so easy to learn!!! Its the only one i know...

  • Omg she cracks me up so much!!

  • @0XlxDREAMxlX0 The metric system is far easier than the imperial system. it's tens based...

  • the metric system is soo confusing! maybe its cuz i'm stupid.. -.-

  • I can only use the metric system. Well... I'm getting there. I know half a sub is six inches, and so a whole one is twelve, and thats a foot.

  • The metric system is taught in the US... but outside of science it's not really used for anything. It's just the way it is...

  • Are people really spending time arguing the metric system vs. the "english" system on youtube. I was born and raised in the US and Canada, so I am familar with both systems. The metric system is easier, and the US should be on it, but to argue on which is better. It is what you were raised on. If you were raised on metric, that is easier for you. If you grew up in the US (or the UK somewhat), then the "English" system you understand better. It is a waist of time to argue on here about it

  • @mcstaal Finally: The world realizes that Americans are actually taught the metric system and do use the metric system, but prefer our own way of measurement. How small minded to think that because we don't use OTHER countries' system that we are somehow medieval. Both are correct, it's just that the metric system makes it easier for the kids who can only multiply/divide by tens. LOL.

  • I'm from Australia, the metric is the only way to go. The only measures from the imperial system which aren't bad are miles and feet and inches for height, celsius is way better than fahrenheit, millimetres are way better than fractions of an inch, kilos are way better than pounds and metres are way better than yards.
