Billmaa made a video the other day showing a number of different ways he mounted cameras on his bike. One of the clamps he had I took a special interest in and wanted more info. He was gracious enough to post the name of the clamp mount and I went out and grabbed one for myself.

Here's some footage using the Pedco Ultraclamp mount. I'd have to say that I'm pretty happy with it :)

  • nice video, i live in Tucson Arizona. just out of curiosity, what kind of camera are you using? cause im planning on buying this clap but i don't know if it will hold my camera :/ i want to put it on my bicycle to record where i go. its kind of a bulky camera so im just wondering.

  • @chewbuggars I was using a Kodak Zx1 but all cameras should attach to the mount :)

  • No clouds? Again??

You doing it on purpose? ahaha!!

  • @seb1041 Clouds go to Arizona to die! Actually...there is one or two out there this morning. They'll be gone soon though.

  • Looks really stable, David. Nice addition to your v-logging arsenal.

  • @L0udP1p35 Can thank Billy for making me wanna spend more money on toys. Damn him! ;)

  • that's a pretty solid clamp.

  • i like the back and front views.. i do the same with the other bike but i keep forgetting to clip on the mic for them. yep great weather you get out there

  • Nice GPS and watermark! I also like many angles for cameras, makes the videos more fun to make and watch. Also, the entire time you're riding, I know where you're generally at :P

  • lol You're from the west side of the valley aren't you... I can't quite tell... maybe The east... argh... lol I love phoenix :D

  • I’m going to have to check out the clamp. Looks like it is a good mounting option. I always like seeing what gear folks use. Good stuff!

Ride safe and stay hydrated! The heat can get to you before you now what’s happening.

  • Are you staying in AZ to live or just for work? I'm from IL and my parents are in Sun Lake, AZ. I came out for work last June and it was over 100 almost every day. The thing I noticed was after 2 or 3 weeks the temps didn't bother me as much, and when I finially went home it was too cold.

  • Looks like a nice rig. I'm assuming theres a standard camera mount on the end of it? We really need to get all you southerners up north some weekend to beat the heat

  • I like the idea of multiple cameras. I just haven't got around to deciding what the other cameras will be.

  • Looks like a good job...David.

  • @davidhowellca hehe, got one coming to me soon.

  • I just looked it up, and it appears to be a quality product. Sure is a lot simpler to use, and more versatile, than the U bolt set up on my Ram Mount. My only concern would be the screw clamp trying to work itself loose after a while, but that can be monitored. I'll be buying one soon! Thanks for the info. :)

  • Nice camera setup.

  • Not too hot here. Come on up and I can show you the cool roads around here.

    Are you liking your Job?

  • @VVoodstockRider Trust me...it feels like that to me too.

  • @67kneil The audio is actually only from the camera in my helmet. I dont use the audio on the camera mounted on the bike.

It's very hot here. Keeping cool here means not going out from noon to 6pm :(

  • @invisiblemon I've found that my bike just hates the heat. It's running fairly moderate temps but overall, I'd have to say the engine isnt running like I'm used to it running.

  • @rebelyell91 Im happy I finally have a decent way to rear mount a camera :)

  • @1toomanyhobbies I'm very happy with the clamp. For the best results, it should be mounted on a stable part of the bike. I.E. - not the fairings.

  • @808yewtube Yeah me too. People have to stop posting all their vlogging toys!
