www.naturopathichealingcourse.com - This video shows how you can very easily make ginger syrup that is very healing as well as tasty. Ginger syrup is good for all digestive problems, flus and colds and for keeping you warm in the winter. You can drizzle this over pancakes, ice cream or yoghurt or you can take it by the teaspoon but my favorite way to use it is to make HOMEMADE GINGERALE! To do this all you need to do is to add 2 tsp. of the syrup to fizzy water and - voila! The best gingerale you have ever had - and it is all natural and healing as well.

  • I wouldn't use a teflon/non-stick pan though. It's got very toxic chemicals.

  • @leftcoaster63 I agree. This was one of the first videos I did and I didn't plan very well. I just grabbed any pan just to make the video. Since then I've learned a lot about details in taking videos. Thank you :)

  • Thanks! Great vid.

Can I put some of this syrup and water on kefir grains to make ginger ale? ... and how do you get 'fizzy' water otherwise to make the ginger ale from this syrup?

  • @ZawadiSimone yes, you could do this to make it fizzy. I usually just add some sparkling water do it.

  • you need a choping board and a pan, redneck.

  • Yehaw ;)

  • How about use a lid and less water? I think water is not always so readily available for some people.

  • I have a batch of this boiling right now thanks to you =)

I made it last year and it was great for the winter colds, but meanwhile I had forgotten the details of the recipe, so yesterday, when I realized I was coming up with a cold I knew what to do: buy ginger and go online xD

    Anyway, thanks =)

  • Salaams Karima, Thank you for sharing healing ginger syrup recipe. I use ginger for lots of healing from sore throat to nausea and more. Give my love to your children.

  • Nice video. I am going to do the syrup today. P.s. Please, use a choping board

  • uh what would u use for a stye that keeps comming back and what would you use to keep it away?

  • Breed white girls make mixed race half a race babies exterminate the white race through breeding mixed people

  • Hi, great recipe, but i think you really should slice the ginger into thin bits. The water cannot posibly acces and wash out all the chemicals in that large chunks. And another thing: don't be so hasty when putting the honey into the warm wather, just wait until it cools down to nice 40-50 degrees C.

  • @esaloom The spoon thing isn't worth doing. I make preserves all the time, the setting point of jam is 104C and I have never had a jar break on me. It may be necessary for the fine glass cups used for coffee in the middle east, but is certainly not necessary for preserve jars or bottles.

  • If you peeled the roots you could have had candied ginger, too.
