this is the thing i dont understand. what the hell is the player suppose to do when he gets pushed into the goalie he cant do anything to prevent it. i wish the NHL would change that rule

As a goalie, player and a ref, and noting hasek's style in general, if you look at it closely you can see him moving his own body into the av's player to look like he's caught then fall away from it to look like interference. If it was me I would call it a goal.

I hate the wings and love the Aves, but I'm not sure what to call this. Sure he was pushed, but he didn't have to push Hasek, but Hasek embellished do much.

the wings get screwed over on enough goals that have even less contact than this one so they deserve a break sometimes.

It's 100% bad contact. He's in the crease and interfering with the goalie's ability to make the save. That's the rule. The only problem I see is with the D-man pushing him. If you're pushed in, it's no goal if you make an attempt to get out of the way. Did he make an attempt? That's the golden question.

i hate most western teams so i dont have much of a bias on this.. but hannan was pushed onto the top of the net, he pushed hasek a little bit with his hand but hasek embellished it completely. i say the goal should count
