remember XFCE is a full DE, while OB is just a plain WM.
so of course OB is faster, but less comfortable.

@hectixx I'm not talking about design... I'm talking about how small it is. It reminds me of DSL, which was totally rubbish in my opinion.

Nice, plain and productive, just as it's meant to be.
I use XFCE myself, but have tried out openbox too. Both of them are fast and great, just, in my opinion XFCE is a bit more user friendly.

@mysteryloser24 Just because it doesn't have racing stripes and garish glossy icons doesn't mean it's a bad design. Some of us like simplicity...
