  • we had this experiment using the same apparatus as what the video shows.. but we had a bad result due to very fluctuating voltage in every spectral color...

    hate it :-(

  • you dont get it, he need to mesure the distance between each of his spectral ray, than he will find the planck constant by finding λ, than it will give you something like : h = (qUλ)/c where h:is the Planck constant, q:the elementary charge, U: the tension, λ:the wavelenght and c:the speed of light, you will get your wavelength by founding all the spectral ray of the Hydrogen,

  • Yeah, the multimeter shows no voltage until the laserlight is shone onto that photoreceptor.

  • i think it shows a voltage or current given off, i.e electrons moving. perhaps?

  • Where was the photoelectric effect there? Or did you only show the experimental setup?
