His biggest mistake was using a pick head ax to ventilate this roof. The pick head ax is absolutely pointless in the fire service now, its on the trucks b/ of tradition and thats it. If he had a regular axe he could have turned it around and used the flat head part to bash through this roof in half the time. This idiot was on this roof way too long, once it vented itself he should have been done

@ThePlugugly your a fag..lol... those packs are full of compressed air, not oxygen air mixture... its like talking half a breath of fresh air, then venting a roof with an ax. while wearing 65 lbs or gear.... yaa drewdino,if the fire has burned its way through the roof that mean the building is likely to collapse soon.. otherwise,got to vent, so the heat will rise, and give the interior attack team a lil nicer time putting out the fire.

no that person is not girly at all!!! until you do it you wont have full respect for what they are doing. they teach us that if the fire is already showing threw the roof it has already self ventilated so they should get off asap!!! great job guys and glad yall kept safe : ) god bless
