windows 7 on asus EEE pc 900a atom

Test della beta pubblica di windows 7 (seven) beta build 7000 su un Asus eeepc 900A con il seguente hardware:
cpu: Atom 1,6ghz
ram: 1gb ddr2
hd: 8gb SSD very very slowly
video: 950gm intel integrated
Dal filmato potete vedere come si comporta dopo aver fatto tutti gli ultimi aggiornamenti ufficiali (non ho installato driver in modo esterno o forzato, solo quelli proposti da lui) e con un'utilizzo di 2 giorni circa con vari smanettamenti, posso dire che è reattivo al massimo e graficamente molto gradevole e fluido, non ha niente a che vedere con Vista.

It is possible but you will have to go through several steps to strip it down. I have a 32 gb drive on the way from mydigitaldiscount. Planning to get windows 7 on after that. Seeing what is possible on these netbooks is pretty amazing. The netbook linux distros are nice but battery life sucks on all of them.

per le finestre usa il tasto con il simbolo windows + il tab mentre la canzone in background è presa dalla lista di canzoni gratuite messe a disposizione da youtube.

Thanks for making this video, i use a 900a with 2gb of ram and a 32g runcore SSD. im thinking about getting windows 7 and your video was very helpfull.

its the default very very poor ssd of 900a model but win7 it run very good enought, faster than win xp and ubuntu.
