Green has his gloves off at the end of this fight so why didn't he take them off after beating Jones see shit doesn't make sense.

@richieray04 ...One is a 12 round fight where the fighters have to wait for a referees decision and their corner takes off the gloves while they are waiting - the other is a shock first round knock down and subsequent TKO . How many fighters take their gloves off before celebrating a knock out victory. Green's wraps were checked and re-checked ...Jones had to make excuses because his PPV with Hopkins was in doubt

Green now pretends to be charitable by offering the 10% and all that crap, but in reality he knows this fight will make him a lot of money and that 10% will be nothing in comparison. This was a massive loss in Greens career and particularly his ego, Green trashed talked and taunted Mundine all those years before and now hes trying it again , Mundine talked but he backed it up with his fists and put on a masterclass. well done Mundine youve already done your aboriginal people proud.

@minh189 ...Green has obviously bounced back from that 'massive loss' as his career is in a better position than Mundine's at the moment. 10% would probably be around $500 000 and that's $500 000 more than Mundine has ever proposed.

@noteatpig2getha I have to agree with you mate that Greens' bounced back strong and now seems the same kind of fighter if not better than when he first came on the scene, but Greens' got a big ego and runs off at the mouth a lot and nobody ever points that out, the media only puts down the likes of Mundine because they simply dont want the guy to succeed. The way I see it Green's probably gotten better and Mundine has had a decline in recent times, I'd like to see Green fight a genuine guy.

@minh189 ...I don't really see this bad portrayal of Mundine in the press - besides the furore when he made comments about 9/11. Both fighters engage in a bit of hype and taunting and I don't make any character judgements of either from this.

Anthony"the MAN" Mundine delivered. He's a multi-talented athlete whereas green's just been a boxer.Thats why every ex-league player wanted to box wen mundine started boxing. I love how this fight was perceived as a ABO vs white aussie fight, and everyone in NZ and aussie knew it. As far as all the negative comments about "the MAN" go he walked the walk and talked the talk so all the wannabe aussie haters should just accept that "the MAN" had the goods on green and stop making excuses for him.

And I think you'll come to find that it was more of a matter of Mundine not letting Green fight the fight he wanted to...that's what an effective jab does in boxing.

This was one of the most disapointing fights I have ever seen. I remember watching it thinking it's fixed for a Mundine decision so more could be made on the rematch. Mundine didn't beat Green, Green just walked in threw up his hands and said you can have it mate.Anyone who has ever boxed can see Green did everything wrong against a Mundine style fighter. It wasn't because Mundine was great, It was because Green was a douche bag.
