This is a review of the LG900g GSM phone with service provided through NET10 (who uses AT&T and T-Mobile as the service carriers). It comes standard with the A/C adapter, Activation Card, Services Guide, the battery, and of course, the phone.

You might want to pick up a microUSB cable for transferring your songs and data from your computer. And I recommend that you get at a 4GB microSD memory card.

Overall, I recommend that you at least take a look at this phone. I think the cost of the phone is worth it compared to the value of overall features that this phone has to offer.

Pros:
-Qwerty Keyboard
-Lightweight; Small and fairly compact
-FM Radio (thru headphones or the built in speaker)
-MP3 Music Player
-Voice recorder
-Decent 2 megapixels photos and video
-Good Sounding built in Speaker
-Standard 3.5mm standard Headphone jack
-Bluetooth - data and audio profiles
-It's inexpensive phone for those looking to upgrade from your basic phone
-Reasonable service rates (NO Contracts! Unlimited costs $50/mo.)

Cons:
-Not really a "smart" phone (Usually those will have Windows Mobile, Android, Blackberry OS, Palm OS, etc. as the operating system.)
-Little bit of hassle importing/exporting contacts
-Limited browser capabilities with built in browser (no video streaming)
-Does not include microUSB cable or microSD memory card
-Needs a better manual (You can google the European model GW300)
-Although full qwerty - keys are a tad squished together. But the keys have a good tactile feel.

Thanks for watching.

  • @gese74 no its called a micro usb cable and theyre like a dollar

  • @PatrickLookhoff yes but i heard they slow it down if u use it too much

  • Hey just got the same model, and I'd like to know what kinda usb cable can I use? I already have 2 usb cables one came with my camera, and the other is from my old mp3 player can I use one of those or do I need another type of usb cable???

  • tracephone and net10 are co-partner??? so would a tracphone sim card work in a net10 phone??? eg buy LG900g phone and get cheapo tracephone for sim card to swap out with... would I beable to get tracephone service??? i'd prefer their rate plans.

  • You're very informative, but I nearly fell asleep from this video. And try not holding the phone not so close to the camera. Very blurry at times. AF is picky.
