Documentary by journalist and filmmaker Dave Clement follows the story of a group of indigenous people from the Grassy Narrows First Nation reserve, about 80 kilometers northeast of Kenora, Ontario. In December 2002, they took up a fight to protect their traditional lands from a multinational forestry corporation. They started a blockade that would become the longest- standing in Canadian history. Visit FreeGrassy.org.

    Money, Money Money..

MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. This phrase was not created for no reason.

Investigate the monetary system of the world to learn the truth. No country in this world has its soverignty because a PRIVATE institution controls its money. Take the fight to where it needs to go... directly to the SOURCE.. the ZIONIST movement.

  • to beautifulgurl... The sad thing is, is that they most likely DO realize exactly what they are doing to the envroment. But the paycheck is obviously more important to them than the way they leave the earth for their grand children.

  • Very inspiring, really shows the struggle that the community faces. Hope there has been much progress over the last few years

  • Awesome video olsonbd!

  • I, and a group of strong "warrior" Native and non-Native women participated in a rally at Queen's Park and had the honor of meeting and singing with Judy Da Silva. Our Prayers are with you Sister. Powerful video. Meegwetch/Nya weh.

  • love without action is cowardice,Power must serve love, and government is not doing that, life suffered, they have suffered and soon we will all be suffering if we do not take action. The Indigenous people know this and therefore act, we must take notice and unify in support of respect for rights...so my message to you is take action and protect what you love

  • Thank you for making this clip available & accessable. I will do what I can to pass it on & spread the word. Regards from Thunder Bay.

  • I'm From Grassy Narrows And It Sucks What's Happening There ... It Makes Me Angry To Think About What The Loggers Are Doing There! It's Such A Beautiful Place To Go, and They Are Ruining It. And Yet They Probably Don't Realize That They Are A Big Part Of Global Warming.

  • I am so thankful for the email. I had forgotten what was happening in Kenora area. I look forward to sharing the movie with all I know. Thank you for the awakening...mission for life.
