Said story, and deserves the attention its getting. The family should be in many peoples hearts. But a film that deserves an Oscar should have an unbelievable story, footage, characters, director, and a million other things when there is a film is this category that has it all. If anyone hasn't seen HELL AND BACK AGAIN, then you should as soon as possible. This is an unbelievable story

@Othelie It is shocking only if you know the case through the documentaries, which is a necessary requirement in order for someone to support the three. Otherwise, you see through the preposterous claims of innocence quite easily. Every one of the documentaries lead you to believe that there is not one shred of evidence that implicates them in the murders. It's sad. They really got away with killing those boys..

@latingirl042 The story is shocking, but it's not the best of the nominees this year, in fact I'm a little sceptical to how they made this and the previous ones (they were accused of keeping back evidence). You should check out "To Hell and Back" or "Undefeated". "Pina" is a brilliant dance movie, although I'm not sure if I would call it a documentary. I haven't seen "If a Tree Falls", so I can't really say anything about it, but I'm planning to.

This documentary is nominated for an oscar. I saw the nominations online and I was shocked to see it was nominated. I hope it wins the oscar. I haven't it but I saw the first one and I've been reading and watching several videos on the west memphis 3. What a sad yet remarkable story. I read some of the parents of lil boys are upset it got an oscar nomination. I haven't heard of the other documentaries nominated but I truly hope this one wins.
