Dirt bike technology seems to be rather stagnant. These bike don't look much different than they did back in the early 80's. Same tires, rims, grips, suspension travel, seats, plastic, bars, frames, brakes, chains, sprokets, swing arms, handle bars, ........I'm not saying there aren't changes.....it's just the biggest changes are that some have changed colors. That they went from 2 stroke to 4 stroke seems to be the only significant change. ........but there were 4 strokes in the 80's too.
bskicrash & jones618, following your comments I agree that Canard is showing that he should be a contender whenever he makes the the full-time move to the 450 class. Heck he's a contender now--he's just not in the points race. bskicrash, I get the point you are making that although Canard is riding well he should take his time, get experience and not move up too fast. However, I also see what jones618 is saying. Canard is beating full-time guys now...why waste time in the 250s.Great comments

flicking, kinda like a midget scrub. Keeps the bike lower to the ground over jumps, so ya hit tha dirt with the before the other guy.
