I could not be an Engineer with Atlanta. Would be road raging after my first run.

As the guy winding out the Q in this video, thanks for the compliments! Believe it or not, when I was learning how to drive fire trucks (20 years ago!) my officer actually took the time to teach me how to use the Q properly... Now that I'm the officer, I try to pass it on.

All fire trucks should have Q sirens all of the time just like I knew them to have twenty or so years ago. An electrical replica just doesn't cut it for something so big and having so much momentum running down the road. If not having them is due to budget reasons, then at least all should now be equipped with rumbler or howler sirens.

i agree, or maybe mix the 2 together every now and then...but the best sound is a Q and an airhorn, its like music haha

He scared off the 18-wheeler.

pretty much everyone blames the mayor, but it's not just her. it's the city council, the accounting and finance departments that control the cash flow, and many other's.
-
who did the people blame for the poor management of city funds
-
it's called furloughs. the city failed to control it's budget so they decide to cut funding to public saftey. this equals less guys working each shift.

wow do u really think it was gonna hurt the truckers vagina to pull his truck over for 3 seconds so they can get to a fire
Beautiful Q!!! That's how I think ALL fire trucks should sound like ALL of the time. An electronic siren is nice to have as a backup should the Q decide not to work. Please don't flame me just my opinion.
