@MrBanana1240 When you consider Carnival Corporation own: Costa, P&O, Princess Cruises, Holland America Lines, Carnival Cruises, Cunard, P&O Australia, AIDA, Ibero Cruise Lines, and Seabourn Cruise Lines. I'd say their accedent rate is quite low.
Also on another subject: mandatory, "this is going to Costa fortune to repair" bad pun comment.

It seems like lots of accidents happen with Carnival Corporation. . . Costa has had lots of accidents. People have jumped off carnivals and there has been fires. . . That's weird if you think about it. . .

WOW! I have been on ship when we had high winds and several tethers snapped. It is very scary for passengers and crew alike.
