  • @gkygrl thank you so much for replying =D made me feel better hehe

  • @CherienoOnah it will get better. I had the same issue with a honeymoon period of a couple of hours after splints were removed and then things got stuffy. You can expect to be some semblance of "stuffy" for a couple of months but believe me .... it gets better and better. Hang in there. Your nose will be like new within 6 months or less. I have to treat allergies the same and I remember I had to carry Afrin with me everywhere when I first had the surgery to help with swelling.

  • @gkygrl hello it's me again

today I went to my doctor's office and got my splints removed

i could breath very well for a while

but now after a couple of hours i feel stuffy again

it feels like my nose is still stuffed

i dont know if there's blood inside or boogers lol it just feels uncomfortable

and i cant blow my nose normally cuz my tip is still swollen and it kinda hurts a little

i just wanted to know if that happened to you too

how was ur breathing right after the splints?

  • @CherienoOnah and it will get better all the time. This surgery was one of the best things I ever did. It has cut down my sinus infections to almost ZERO. Happy breathing, it gets better. I did another vid- 21 months post-op. Huge difference!

  • omg this video totally made me feel better! THANK YOU!

It has been seven days since my operation

my doctor removed the cast off my nose today but decided to keep the splints inside for another week.

I kinda panicked and started crying a little when i saw the tip of my nose and nostrils all huge and swelled up! I was worried it would stay like that even tho the doctor told me that it'll get better
