There is a strong emotional bond between the Steelers and their fans that is very unique. It's unlike any other in any city. It was formed through the econ hardship of the 70s. I remember the exodus and fear among the people of Pittsburgh. My dad wasn't a steelworker so we weren't as affected as other people. Other fans wave their towels, but our towel represents more. We think Steelers, Myron Cope, and the Allegheny Valley School and others that benefit from sales. Go Pittsburgh!

another thing i LOVE about the steelers and the steeler nation is that this is a love that is felt WORLDWIDE and no matter how down on hard times the team may be (like they are right now at 6-7) THE NATION GOES NOWHERE!! our love never dies! the steelers are the TOUGHEST team in the world!!
