In this video we I demonstrate how we clean the table on the milling machine. We just acquired the mill a few days ago. Once we heated up the garage, condensation formed all over the table and rust began to form. Using a stone and some oil, I clean up the outside of the table, and remove all of the. I drew the infinity symbol to show the motion I make with the stone. Before using the stone, its important to remove any grease on the table. Grease can clog the stone. Also use a degreaser after using the stone to remove any oil. The final step is to apply a thin layer of white lithium grease. This will protect the surface from future rust.
