HAVANA WHISPER - Wear My Ring Around Your Neck (TV show pt4)

As the support for HAVANA WHISPER's debut album FLAMMABLE their label PGP-RTS put out a TV show dedicated to the band. This is 4th part and it features the song - WEAR MY RING AROUND YOUR NECK.

This song was written by Bert Carroll and Russell Moody for ELVIS PRESLEY. His version was released in 1958. It was particularly notable for breaking a string of ten consecutive number 1 hits for Presley achieved in just two years. It was Presley's 19th number-one hit in the American R&B Charts, and peaked at number 2 on the American Pop Charts. American country music singer Ricky Van Shelton covered the song for the soundtrack of the 1992 movie Honeymoon in Vegas. Bruce Springsteen also played the song with his E-Street Band.
