Deadwood, South Dakota - OCT08

OCT08 - Deadwood, SD - where Wild Bill Hickok was shot and buried with Calamity Jane Seth Bullock, and more !
Town where the HBO show was based- and yes, i watched the series.
Was here last year, and had to return for a meal at the GEM and re visit the cemetery.
I know i mis-spoke with the Sam Bullock- so no emails on that. Seth was his name, with Martha his wife.
Visit if you get the chance.
SD has turned this town into a gambling mecca - which is not my thing - and the day i visit its Octoberfest too - so bunch of drunks walking around - Not my thing -
Still ate at the GEM - which is an awesome stop -
Order the Chicken Fried Steak - its AWESOME and a great value.

very nice video! My husband and I were there a year ago and really enjoyed our stay. Did you see the re-enactment of Wild Bills killing? Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse was awesome too. Thanks for sharing. I just posted some of our vacation pics too.
