Electro "Mites"? Complex carbs arent needed after a workout, its simple we need. Milk is an ideal post-workout recovery item for its ratio of protien to simple carbohydrate. She did not mention milk?

She is totally wrong. You need simple carbs after the workout, to fill your liver back up. Your body will not fuel up on complex carbs fast. Thus eating them day or 2 before the event.
