A long time ago a well seasoned detective,now retired,took the time to explain to me the way he saw all people.He said,all people wear three masks,one they show everyone,one they show only family,and last,one they show no one. I have always thought that there was a great deal of truth in his statement. How interesting !

im wishing i could paint as this. also not only is it technically great, its visually intresting and connecting emotionally.

more intresting work- im studtying carravagio to learn the old ways. well it is very nice to see realsim having a emotional connection- it is not ' dry and boring' as i am taught at college. also i love nahem shoa and robert leinkewicx- other artists who create emotional effect with realism.

I have often thought about the mask thing too-the masks we wear everyday.
