Are you kidding? Pop was the least commerical album of all. You think MoFo, If You Wear That Velvet Dress, Wake Up Dead Man, etc. were commercial?!
Vertigo was U2 at their most commerical. Pop was U2 at their most experimental and ironic.

I live in NYC and I go to the Letterman show a lot to see the guests and take photos. In the 15 years I've been doing that, I have to say that the week with U2 was the best ever. The were magnificent to their fans outside and inside and blew the roof off the room. I'll never forget it.
