This work presents entertaining aspects of popular American culture and materialism. These videos portray the ephemeral satisfaction of a superficial lifestyle. Clips of relative imagery, dancing, and repetitive music are layered and mixed for the final result. The dancing in the videos evokes a positive feeling and an acceptance of the imagery that is put behind it. The repetitive music makes you want to join in the dance. Our culture is heavily influenced by things in the media, market, and the materialization of products. The videos strive to satisfy our need to have fun and be entertained. They invoke a feeling of momentary fulfillment. Through these videos, I strive to shed light on our cultures' indulgence of guilty pleasures while entertaining the viewer.
