I enjoyed making my previous slideshow of book covers so much that I decided to do this one of historical fiction. Whether historical bodice rippers (written by authors such as Barbara Cartland, Dorothy Eden, or Alexandra Ripley), or ficitiously depicting a certain time in history (Margaret Mitchell, Mary Stewart) or a fantasized take on royalty and nobility (Philippa Gregory, Anya Seton, Carolly Erickson, Kathleen Windsor, Allison Weir), the cover art (and usually the books themselves) are beautifully composed, and well-researched. Music by the Mediaeval Baebes. Hope you like it, and wishing you all a Happy Easter!

  • This one is my fave so far! EXCELLENT! I have a secret LOVE for Mideviel things-such as clothes, swords, furnishings, knights, movies, music etc...

I just loved the song you chose, I am a huge sucker for romance also!

  • That was very pretty and the music perfect.

  • I enjoyed your video, a reminder of the books that I should be reading. I have read a few historical novels though. Great job!

  • Nice. :) I recognized some of those titles- especially Katherine. One of the best books I've ever read...beautiful music too. I love Celtic sounding music...
