881 people in Austin Texas dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller to break the Guiness World Record for number of people dancing to Thriller at the same time -- there were a bunch of other cities participating too.
My friend and I got there just in time to watch the performance -- and we agreed that it was the most entertaining 5 minutes of the day :)
We talked to a few of the Zombies and other participants, grabbed a few photos and then took a few "scary" photos of ourselves before heading over to Shady Groove, where we saw a bunch of other folks from the event. Only in Austin would you see tables of people, on a Saturday afternoon, dressed in fake blood and zombie outfits drinking margaritas and eating burgers with no one asking a single question.
That's why I love this town!

I would've so loved to be there dancing.

I wish i could of done this. i had my 15th birthday party, and we learned this dance. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. to bad i dont think thst colorado had a thrill the world place

ive lived in other TX cities but Austin is the best by far!! I love Austin!
