"Innocent Victims of Cat Hoarding"

Some of these images may be graphic for some, please use discretion when viewing. The continual cycle of breeding, suffering, & dying is being allowed to take on a hoarder's property in Van Nuys, CA. Many of the young female cats have delivered so many litters of kittens each cycle that the mothers have given birth to their own uterus... dragging on the ground behind them. Many of the kittens are born prematurely with defects and die horrific deaths. Those that survive are born in to such deplorable conditions that they are blinded by Conjunctivitis, have extrememly weak immune systems due to flea anemia & severe diarrhea (from parasites such as Coccidia & Giardia). Not only are they allowed to continually breed over & over, again, but none of them receive even 'basic' veterinary care. They are not vaccinated and the majority of kittens & young cats suffer from Upper Respiratory Infections, Pneumonia, & eye ulcers that often cause permanent damage. Many of the males fight for dominance & territory resulting in abcessed bite wounds & untreated injuries. I've seen this, first hand, and have documented evidence of the 63 I was allowed to rescue from here.

Why the City continues to allow this horrific Animal Cruelty & Neglect is beyond my ability to comprehend.

At this point wouldn't it be more humane to just get animal control involved and press charges? I know they would destroy most of the cats they found but it would end the nightmare... wouldn't it?

I cried at the disabled kitten part I just ended it. It's cruel what people do. These inoccent sweet animals don't get to live the lives they deserve just beacause people are stupid unresponsible and careless :.......(

I think you should research what really happens to cats at shelters that are not adoptable. Usually sold to labs or ground up for "meat by product"s and sold in cans of pet food to everyone's pets or boiled down as tallow for detergents or cosmetics we use.. So to be honest the nightmare does not 'end" there.
