Please... The cat may have been all puffed up and putting on a show, but it could have run away and hidden, if it really was scared. I had a cat and we'd sometimes play this game; I'd crouch down behind something at the end of the hall, and he'd do these mock attack charges at me, running sideways with fur puffed out to look big. And just as he got close, he'd turn around and bolt back down the hall... and repeat until tired. It was a lot of fun, and no one was scared or being abused.

What is the point of teasing your pet to the point their upset?

Oh come on, you whiners... every cat can stand a little fighting... they do it every night in my garden and arent harmed at all.

Even to annoy your housecat, gives them a little action they surely need. they are still domesticated wildcats, not humans.. :)
