Cracking WEP nothing new. This time on Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope with aircrack 1.0 rc3 and a Pluscom WLAN USB ZD1211B I got for about £8 off ebay.
WEP is weak as this video shows and though it's still very popular. BTHomeHub/2's are still shipped with it as default.
I don't think this is too much of a problem though, it's getting more and more popular to have your wifi unprotected, sharing is caring after all... Who actually uses other people's protected wifi? Unless it's WPA and the person set the password as something obvious e.g.
"password" or something...

airodumps interface shows you so does kismet.

No and I don't think it's ever going to. There was "wepbuster" mentioned that may run on windows, idk.
All you need is a compatible wifi card and a live cd of linux if you really don't want to install it.
