You may have missed this one in 2010 but don't worry, Skate and Create will continue to please in 2011. The show displays work from skateboarding influenced artists, Shawn Beeks, Steve Chellis, and Jay Croft. Additionally works of art using skateboards as canvases and media are on display. These works have been sold as fundraisers for skateparks in Columbia, SC. This exhibit defies the typical skateboarder stereotypes by celebrating this self-expressive performance art through fine art it has inspired.

I used to rollerblade in Charleston and went to USC. I think I recognize some of the ppl. in this video from skating Strom. Just stopping by to let yall know that I think Pour It Now is an amazing foundation and I know the children of Columbia are going to benefit from the new Owen's Field park for years to come.
