MALAGA MY LOVE_ The Leon Project; Featuring: Thomas Henry & Chandé.

It is with great pleasure that we bring you the worldwide launch of the video of Málaga my love from The Leon Project, with Thomas Henry and Chandé featuring as guest artists.

The video was filmed in some of the city's most emblematic locations: streets such as Larios, Alcazabilla, Cister, Compañía; the Roman Theatre and Gibralfaro, combining current and historic Málaga scenes full of magic and passion.

Málaga, the cradle of Flamenco, the land of Picasso -- the most universal of all Málaga's natives, is located within the autonomous community (region) of Andalucía, in the south of Spain. Málaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol. It was founded by the Phoenicians during the 7th century B.C., and was named Malaka (which means "place where fish are salted"). It stretched along the foot of the hill where the mediaeval forts of Alcazaba and Gibralfaro were located. Its rich history stretches back over more than 3,000 years and includes an intoxicating mix of cultures, such as the Phoenician, Cartagenian, Roman and Muslim, each one of which, quite naturally, left its mark. Málaga is a unique city, full of a wide array of attractive sites of historical, architectural and cultural interest. The poet, Vicente Alexandre describes the city as "a paradise between earth and sky"...and he was not mistaken. Extending along kilometres and kilometres of coast, the region of Málaga is a sunny place full of beautiful landscapes and beaches.

Magnificent, monumental, magic...are words that only begin to describe Málaga. Just as a woman hides herself timidly behind her fan, Málaga invites you to explore in greater depth everything if offers as a city, in a cosmopolitan ambience without equal: from Flamenco dancers and music, to museums, gardens, architectural riches and bullfighting art.

THE LEON PROJECT offers us all this in their recently-launched video of MALAGA MY LOVE, a song that exports the name of MÁLAGA throughout the world.

A song to daydream to...to set your feelings free, MALAGA MY LOVE is...more than mere feeling...

  • Love it, the palmas (hand clapping) is pure classical Spanish and the song is GREAT!

  • I don't like the beginning. In Shakira's Sale El Sol Tour she performs Gypsy and right before she begins.... she does that exact same clapping.

    Hmmm....
