SYEP (Part 7) Candid Thoughts About The DC Summer Youth Employment Program

Hoffman gets one of the DC Summer Youth Employment Program participants on the phone to make sure that she was allowed to return back to work at the DC Public Employee Relations Board (DC PERB) office.

The Director of the DC PERB office promised the SYEP participant that IF she got good grades in school, she would be allowed to return to work for the summer in Mayor Adrian Fenty DC Summer Jobs Program.

Brandy Edmonds has been waiting to hear if she can go back to work, after Hoffman met with DC DOES Director Joseph Walsh. Hoffman promised Walsh that he would give Walsh time to address the issues he has been raising since last year's 2009 DC Summer Youth Employment Program. Hoffman tries to get the SYEP participant on the phone to see if there is any good news.
