It's a shame that people find this funny. Okay, it may be comedy, but some shit can be taken personal. For example: The gay comment. I'm not GAY but I am BISEXUAL. That shit hurts. It's not funny at all.

@GoFlamesGo100 its the same principles dude. make it seem okay on the screen, and it seems okay in real life. Kids are easily influenced. and it's not always their own insecurities. Sometimes it's taught. Sometimes they learn through, oh I don't know, shows like these. this isn't only about his jokes on gays or mental disabilities. It has been going on for ages now with Blacks, Jews, Women, Muslims, and many many other groups of people. In the end, you believe what you want.

@SeanTaeYKim there is is huge difference between comedy and bullying! you cant get mad at a comedian for doing his job. Kids bully other kids because they are insecure about their own self image. It has nothing to do with what a comedian says!

@SeanTaeYKim You're not even clued in enough to know what a "racist" joke is, yet you imply it. You are right up the alley of what I'm talking about. No clue, but ready to pounce and be offended at any point.
If it was my child, and I do have a child who is slower developing, I'd LET IT GO. Rather than police every joke or comment made that takes a shot at me or someone I love. Now, go Google "ginsu" so you can say you learned something today...

@ccrosbie33 Well I guess it wasn't really funny to her. I bet it wouldn't be really funny if it was your kid. It isn't about oneself, but the people you love who get hurt that makes a person going I think. And I was a little kid, yet it still hurt her. And what's a ginsu knife? lol
^racist joke?

@RottingintheMidwest I'm over it. I suppose you believe yourself to be one so high and mighty as to criticize "ignorant" speech.
Probably pretty ironic...
-
@SeanTaeYKim Yes, lighten up. Comedians make fun of things very near and dear to me each day -- and guess what. I just don't listen to Bill Mahar, or Jon Stewart or whoever it is that says it. I don't demand an apology because it's something that affects me. I'm not entitled to a damn thing.
Did you remind the lady it was a joke and not aimed directly at her child -- or as you infer, did you run home and contemplate doing the "honorable" thing with a Ginsu knife?

@castanonjm Because Justin Timberlake would love to work for SNL wages?
You realize Tracy has been off of the show for seasons, now, right?

@ccrosbie33 once, I joked about a mentally retarded child, and the mother overheard. She broke down and cried, but hey, I should've told her it was only a joke right? because the son she loved so much was retarded, and she was just looking for a reason to get an apology from me. it was only a joke, so why did she cry so much. Why did she cry so hard? Because one of the dearest loves of her life was being ridiculed? PSHH, toughen up, right? right?
-
@GoFlamesGo100 like how bullies tease other kids right? it's all a joke in the end, but then why are so many kids dead? It's just FUCKING COMEDY AIN'T IT?!
WHO THE FUCK CARES ITS FUCKING COMEDY!!!!! People shouldnt get offended its ment to make people laugh he is not actually being serious

@mulgrum Agreed. I find it funny that free speech only exists so long as you're ranting about certain things.
You're right, there are far too man humorless people in the world who feel entitled to an apology anytime someone jokes about something they don't want to hear. Is there a person in this world who hasn't heard a comedian tell a joke that offends at least something about them or what they believe? People need to get over it...
