@grantafanta not too fast...but rushed yes. the guy probably had a few drinks i d say. can happen. and the "important embellishments" are not missed at all! Jeez, he even puts twice the amount in compared to what is played normally. listen a bit closer. he is clearly improvising, but very technical nevertheless...

the pipe major who wrote this intended it to be played a little slower than this tempo, but translated to smallpipes the tempo is perfect
