No, you've got it all wrong.

Clearly everyone sees that Obama inherited the entire economic mess we're facing after 8 years of excessive spending by Gorge w Bush.

The only reason America is still afloat in the global economy is because of Obama's leadership, and its the same leadership provided that will guide this nation toward our bright new future.

Global governance is as much of a necessity for America as a globally-minded President, Obama scores a home run on both fronts!!

It's good, but not enough. We need to reinstate Glass-Steagall.

get real, what you said describes a person unwilling to take responsibility for their actions. since you are for global gov, you will be really happy when china and russia invade us, just like we did to libya and iraq. you know they will rob us of what little resources we have left while proclaiming their spreading peace and democracy. WAKE UP! obama cares about 1 thing, himself. if americans meant anything we would get a bailout too. the end is near it will become clear soon!

I, like many others know where a large portion of the federal budget is being wasted which we could frankly do without (for example, look at how much goes into foreign policy annually). But you're right, perhaps it would be wise for me to send another message in the mail.

It is up to the voters to make these politicans accountable for their actions. If these politicians want to roll back/repeal laws that help the public and you voted for him and do nothing be ashamed of yourselves.

If they can't bring real change then you run and do it. If you studied the issues that concerns the budget why don't you send them your ideas. You know so much and can condemn them ...you do it.....unless you're a nutjob as well.

It was the lack of regulation that got us in this mess

Actually, by the time the bush budget ended in october of 09 the unemployment rate peaked at 10%. It is now down to 7.8. So the bush budget did not officially end until late 2009 and the debt was ALREADY SLATED TO INCREASE BY 3 TRILLION DOLLARS BY THE END OF 09. this estiate came in late 2008, BEFORE OBAMA WAS SWORN IN. But because it happened in 09 he makes a nice scapegoat for something that was already predicted to happen. Most of his spending was for the stimulus package, which saved us.

That's stupid. Anyone who believes that Obama or Romney will bring real change are the nutjobs.

None of the two are talking about balancing the budget now, which is what we need. That's stupid and irresponsible.
