  • @Fnkychld Yeah 125th is nice. Queens bridge has all those empty lots and industrial buildings around it if they start building condos on those lots it would boost the area, but then again i doubt anyone would be willing to spend so much to live there.

    Yeah, I agree that it's prime real estate. Long Island City is really developing, but it'll probably take awhile before that area becomes as hip as the East Village / Union Square area. Stuy Town's proximity to NYU is also a big draw. 125th Street is already fast becoming another 42nd Street so gentrification is no surprise in Manhattan - I think all lower income housing will eventually be taken over in the city. Queensbridge will probably take many generations still.
