  • I must thank you for this video! I've been replacing meals with this exact smoothie, and I've lost about 13lbs in a week and a half. I'm doing it without starving myself too. This fills me up and tastes friggen good.

    Again, thank you!!

  • I use the Montel Williams blender, its awesome...

  • swap the soy milk for almond milk, much healthier for you...I make these all the time with a slight variation...same idea, delish

  • You never want to put APPLE CORE with seed in your mix. Arsenic...

  • I'd use almond milk, it's not healthy to have that much soy.

  • @DeadeyeJoe37, Actually, the tamper does little good for nut butters or hummus, especially if either are very thick. A tamper can help push down the ingredients, which is essential in a VM, but not for a Blendtec. Such ingredients stick to the walls, which is where a rubber spatula is the only solution. However, Blendtec has a new jar called "Twister", which is made specifically for nut butters and hummus, which makes any suggestion to the value of a tamper totally moot.

  • @PE425 Actually, the tamper is good for doing nut butters. Every now and then I wish for a tamper when doing ice creams if I put too much ice in the mix. However, I love my Blendtec. Both machines are great, but I agree that the Blendtec does a slightly better job at mosst things.

  • doesn't this guys reminds you of a hybrid between Chandler and Peter Griffin?

  • Add vanilla whey protein and water instead of soy "milk" (which is not good at all for weight loss) and you have a great recovery shake for AFTER exercising
