  • Gasper - If you can snatch then yes you can use it. With relative light weight though. This is a power move and shouldn't be laboured. Another variation to use to help with defence to attack power transfer would be burpee ball throws. Basically with a ball on the floor do a burpee, as you land on your feet grab the ball and throw it underhand against a wall. That will take you from say a sprawl situation to an explosive take down or press against the cage.

  • Buddy, I do know how to snatch. This ain't a snatch, it's a burpee power snatch and is a bit of fun. Lighten up sweetheart. From looking at your page all you do is sit and slag off other people. Get a grip

  • Yep, you could if you didn't know how to snatch, didn't know how to burpee and didn't have the power to pull yourself in to the get set position. Luckily though.........my back is fine.

  • yeah it's just a mash up of exercises that are utilised in crossfit. This was just a play around to show the movement. If you check the workouts SASHA or MACEY in my videos you will see what happens when you finalise rep ranges and add the goal.

    Cheers guys

  • This is the most retarded thing I have ever seen. People are going to start hurting themselves because of Cultfit.

  • looks cool, I never thought aobut doing this before. I'd like to give this a try. My snatch is really weak as I've never really started doing it til recently.

  • your probably well familar with the near blackout stage after doing these excersises.. I've started to use this as a recovery method, its all about relaxation and fighting through the head pain.. try it out.. dont do another rep until you are complete revovery. its about not letting the shit get to ya. simple as that fellas.

  • dude how much KG is that bar and plate? An awesome edition to add to my routine. Must have taken a lot out of you when you first started doing it?

  • impressive, but isn't it a bad idea to use complex power movements in a conditioning drill? I was always told it's important not to groove bad form (as fatigue kicks in) as it will ultimately affect your technique when doing pure power.

  • Just implemented this in my WOD :)

  • that's badass!!! i would have never thought of mixing the two. hello barpee power cleans

  • Good stuff bro definitely gonna start combining this into my cf wods

  • 4 people broke their backs
