I have a regular 3.8L throttle body. The honey comb screen got a large hole punched in it. Do you know if you can buy a replacement honey comb screen any where. I tried O'Riley's and they said no. Since the engine isn't super charged do I need the screen. Thanks for doing this video, it gave me a lot of good information.
The engine is on a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville

Good video. I have a 98 Bird with a 3800. Do you think I can install an old MAF so I can remove the middle column inside the TB?

T12? WTH is a T12? Absolutely sure it is a T20! There has never been a T12 Torx bolt or socket. Good luck with the removing of plastic...how about porting and polishing.

should you spray throttle body cleaner in there with the mass air flow sensor in ?

@pokerking50 The Mass Air Flow sensor require a special spray. don`t use Throttle body cleaner on the MAF sensor element, it may cause damage to the Hot wire element. CRC make a product spray call Mass air flow cleaner should only be use on MAF sensor element.
