We hear the same Creationist arguments SO OFTEN, we decided to assemble our 10 favorites and address them here. Feel free to use this video as a response to the Creationists in your circle.
@allnamesaretakenful Yes. For some people that live in a mainly religious community, admitting your an atheist might be equivalent to committing social suicide.
I think it's insane that people have to respect that people believe in imaginary things. Fuck that. If someone has a belief that certain races are inferior, would you respect that he believes that? No, you'd laugh at the Nazi. Same goes for religious people. I think people just say it because they are afraid of the overwhelming number of idiots.
Evolution doubter: But professor, I just find it impossible to believe that a single cell could develop into a complex, multi-trillion celled organism, even over millions of years!
Professor: But madam, you did it yourself in only 9 months!
The main point that seems to be (intentionally) overlooked by the religious is that whether God is guiding evolution or not is irrelevant to the concept. Evolution is a process that overwhelming evidence supports. The real reason most people reject evolution is because it rejects the young earth creationist belief that the earth is less than 10,000 years old. It is not necessary to be an atheist to accept evolution and many prominent religious figures DO accept it.
you dont believe in evolution? why? what about my rottweiler dog? it evolved from a wolf 'fact' and if you say otherwise then your very uneducated. You're obviously a religious man and i respect that. i too have beliefs but i dont share them on youtube because of the trolls here. but why not accept what has been proven? for al lwe know God planted the seeds of life to evolve. after all were one in hundreds of trillions of planets. wonder if they are religious
