@emacor7 krapters are over waited and under powered unless your put a diamond plated head gasket on your engine witch is 15,000$ and then youl hold a chance at betting a ltr with the core in and ill race any fool who seas other wise just to prove my point.
but what you do haft to take into account is that 6th gear that 450s don't have or nead unless your racing for 2 miles witch some people want to do.

LTRs are great quads and will beat Raptors in the track easy, but for dune racing raptors are just better bikes. Plus they are so easy to get them to the 70+ HP.

@mbzchris22 Agreed, my buddy races his built raptor on national trackk and never has had problems, my motor built ltr will win in drags but not top end, and it has had way more problems. both great bikes, and credits to all ppl who race raptors!

Wow. The 700 raptor was a mistake of design. People and reviewers say its a race bike but my best friend raced one and the whole motor had to be rebuilt after a week of racing. Secondly the raptors were made for top end stock and the ltr450 comes stock with bottom-end sprockets ready for race tracks. Power the ltr wins. Top speed the 700 wins. Torque the ltr wins. The ltr is the better bike but in this retarded drag the race was about top speed and thats the only thing the 700 has to offer.
