a review of my new Garmin Sat nav. The sat nav also comes with a handy leather case.

  • no, its like any system in your car, like the car radio or dash lights or phone charger, the current requirement is very low for the sat nav, once the alternator is working correctly and the battery is in good order you will have no problems, the head lights on your car would drain the battery much quicker than the sat nav.

  • does it drain the car battery alot??

  • if you have it in the cradle in the car then no the battery is charged from the car battery, but if you are walking about with it in your pocket listening to tunes then yes the battery will drain down, it lasts about 8 hours out of the cradle, if its not linked to the sats e.g. the flap is down then the barrery lasts longer, hope that helps. thanks for watching.

  • your welcome mate. the garmin is a cracking device, well worth is price.

  • thank you for the review

i bought that device and i really like it
