The X-team, consisting of Jim Leroy, John Mohr and the Shockwave perform at the 2006 Langley Airshow also known as Airpower over Hampton Roads.

On July 28th, 2007, the aviation and airshow community lost one of the greatest pilots ever. Jim Leroy was lost during a Codename: Mary's Lamb X-team Performance in Dayton,Ohio. A memorial fund has been set up for his 4 year old son Tommy Leroy.

  • i believe it would be cool to an f-15 with full ab race the shockwave

  • a couple of years back, at the oceana airshow, the shockwave was raced by a f-18 hornet

  • The Jet Truck is Shockwave, and the two planes, Bulldog piloted by Jim Leroy and the Stearman piloted by John Morh, taunt the shockwave jet truck and the truck pops burners and then shoots fire/smoke, all with pyro in the background. In another of my videos, you can see the finale with one plane racing the truck and the other coming tword it in a game of chicken!

  • jim leroy died day while performing this act he was an amazing pilot and i am lucky to have seen this live at the chattanooga airshow. RIP jim.
