  • If you're neck hurts it's because you're neck is supposed to stay flush with you're back, movement of the upper body the lower back stays on the ground.

  • @thegoodboy just hold it behind your head and rest your head on the plate so you dont feel strain on your neck, thats what i do

  • how do u hold a dumb bell behind your head? my plates arent heavy enough for me to do awesome weighted crunches and the only way is to use a dumb bell

  • @krodoxk It could be because you're fairly new to the exercise and the ache is from having to support the weight of your head, if your neck isn't used to that. I attended some bads classes at my gym a few years back and she told me in advance that I might get neck ache until my muscles get used to it. As long as it isn't a sharp pain, the discomfort you're feeling is just your muscles repairing themselves and therefore making you stronger

  • @krodoxk ignore how this guy moves his neck. The way i do it is i always face upwards and bring myself up using my abs ONLY. Dont involve the neck in the exercise it's something common you see but a big mistake.
