Nutrition for athletes during Ramadan. Ill try to find the recipe for the spaghetti sauce as soon as i can.

  • Your info's not completely accurate. Bread and pasta (white or wheat) are COMPLEX carbs not simple. Also, sodium (salt) keeps fluid in your body, it prevents dehydration.

  • When i said spaghetti i meant pastas. I think in the video i said not to eat salt alot but i meant keeping in mind that you need about 1600-2600 milligrams of sodium. Yes sodium does keep water in your bodies, i gave links on the side about the importance of salt depending on the sport your doing. I also said too much salt is a bad idea, i know from experience.

    salt cases dehydration for athletes thats a fact .

    sodium does cause water retention , thats a long term thing , but the short term effect is you have more salt in you circulation than you have in tissue so by osmolarity water is drained from tissue to blode then to kidneys .
